„Wacked, honk’n’grind sax/guitar/grunt-laden buttshake tunes from the 50s & early 60s…” nennt das so passend betitelte Strip Label diese Compilation mit Musik für den Strip an der Stange in irgendeinem dunklen Kellerclub anywhere in the world. Das Zeug ist dabei so rare und selten, dass Bandnamen überflüssig sind. Da die Tunes auch durchweg recht kurz sind, passen oft 10 auf eine Vinylseite. Viele Instrumentals, aber nicht durchweg, teilweise hat das schon reichlich Schräglage, ist dann aber auch wieder unglaublich cool.
Bei den gut vollgepackten CDs verhält sich das so: Part 1 hat 31 Tracks von den LPs Vol. 1+2. Part 3 hat 32 Tracks (also nicht alle) von Vol. 3+4. Part 3 hat die komplette LP Vol. 5 und einige Extras. Part 6 hat die komplette LP Vol. 6 plus Extratunage. Grab it, cooler Stoff für vergleichsweise wenig Geld! Die Original Singles jedes Volumens dürften den Wert eines Kleinwagens haben
